ReplyDeleteJust like in Wuthering Heights, the setting in The Mysteries of Udolpho plays a symbolic role in the understanding of the story. In Wuthering Heights, the weathered landscape with its stormy weather seems to indicate when troublesome events or character come into play. Is this the exact same case for The Mysteries of Udolpho?
